Pinching, scratching
What it is
Physical violence that leaves marks but gets dismissed as nothing. "It was just a pinch." Marks don't have to be big to count.
How it gets justified
“It was an accident — I was playing.”
Marks don't appear by accident. Each one is evidence that the limits of your body aren't being respected.
“It's not violence — it's a pinch.”
There's no minimum size for violence. Violence is the line of the body crossed without consent. The body doesn't need the mark to be big to register it.
